Getting started
What is FINORA?
FINORA is cloud software for South African businesses, non-profit organisations and schools. It runs payroll, HR and leave, accounting, sales and purchasing from one system, so your records always agree.
Who is FINORA for?
Small and growing businesses, NPOs that need donor, fund and Section 18A receipt tracking, and schools and creches that need learners, fees and attendance next to staff payroll.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. Use Start free trial on the Get Started page, or ask for a free demo and we will set it up around your business.
Do I need to install anything?
No. FINORA runs in your web browser, so you can use it on a laptop or a phone.
Plans and pricing
How much does FINORA cost?
Plans start at R299 a month. Starter (R299) covers up to 20 employees, Business (R449) up to 50, and Premium (R799) is unlimited. Every plan includes every core module.
What are the add-ons?
The NPO add-on (donors, funds, grants and Section 18A receipts) and the Creche add-on (learners, fees and attendance) are R69 a month each, on any plan.
Is VAT added to the prices?
No VAT is added to the prices shown on our pricing page.
Can I change plan later?
Yes. You can move up a plan when your team grows.
Payroll and tax
Does FINORA calculate PAYE, UIF and SDL?
Yes. PAYE, UIF and SDL are worked out for every employee each time you run payroll. You review the totals, approve and pay.
What payroll documents does it produce?
Payslips, EMP201 and IRP5 information, and a bank payment file for paying your staff.
Does leave follow South African law?
Yes. Leave balances are built around South African leave rules, with requests and approvals handled in the system.
NPOs and schools
Can FINORA issue Section 18A receipts?
Yes. The NPO module issues numbered Section 18A donation receipts and tracks donors, funds and grants. Your organisation must hold the approval from SARS to issue them.
Does it work for schools and creches?
Yes. Track learners, fees and attendance, with your staff payroll and accounts in the same system.
Security and support
Who can see my data?
You decide. FINORA uses roles so each person only sees what they need, keeps an audit trail of changes, and supports two-factor sign-in.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Passwords are reset by your organisation's FINORA administrator. If you are the administrator and are locked out, email us and we will help.
How do I contact support?
Email info@finorasystemssa.co.za or call 067 631 8786. Support hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00, and Saturday until 13:00.
